• Payment provider CardConnect released a beta version of Bolt P2PE, its cloud-based API terminal service that enables software companies to integrate their applications with PCI-validated point-to-point encryption and EMV devices for card-present transactions.
• Wizard World Inc., producer of such pop culture events as Comic Con, is working with Front Gate Tickets for pre-sale and on-site ticketing services at all of its events; Front Gate will be using radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology for cashless point-of-sale payments at the events.
• Payments-technology provider Infinite Peripherals announced the Linea Pro 7 device that enables Apple iPhone 7 devices to scan bar codes and accept payments.

• Oil giant Chevron Corp., through its Chevron Products Co., signed a long-term agreement with WEX Inc.’s WEX Bank to issue Chevron- and Texaco-branded commercial fleet cards beginning in January 2018.
• The CardLinx Association, which represents card-linked offers providers, announced new members, including Sumitomo Mitsui Card and Mitsubishi UFC NICOS.
• Online rewards and advertising Web site ClixSense.com said it now has 7 million members and has paid out $23 million to members to date.
• Payments provider Pivotal Payments Inc. promoted Edward Garcia to chief operating officer. Garcia joined Pivotal in 2015 as senior vice president of operations and has more than 25 year’s experience in the payments industry.
