POSaBIT Enters Vermont And Other Digital Transactions News briefs from 11/28/22

  • POSaBIT Systems Corp., a point-of-sale system maker for the cannabis industry, said its system is now available in Vermont, making it the 21st state for the company’s products.
  • Bread Financial Holdings Inc. said its buy now, pay later product is now available to participating Versatile Credit Inc. merchants and their customers.
  • Tops, a developer of orthodontic practice management software, said it now offers an integrated payment service called TopsPay. It initially includes autopay plans, one-time payments, and card-on-file services.
  • Fintech Conferma Pay said it will work with Sabre Corporation, a software company for the travel industry, and Mastercard Inc. to accelerate the use of virtual cards in business-to-business travel payments. Mastercard also will make a minority investment in Conferma Pay. Sabre acquired Conferma Pay in August.
  • Credit union service organization PSCU expanded its Enhanced Fraud Services product to enable credit unions to choose their service level option.
  • Card-technology giant Infineon Technologies AG and Fingerprint Cards AB agreed to work together to develop and launch a smart payment card secured by biometrics that can be produced as readily as standard dual-interface payment cards.
