  • In-stadium payments provider Cheq Inc. said visitors to the Miami Marlins’ home field, loanDepot park, now can use its services for mobile, kiosk, traditional point-of-sale, and handheld payment options in parts of the park. Cheq began offering mobile payment services at the venue in 2021.8
  • P97 Networks, a provider of mobile-payments technology for gas stations and convenience stores, said it has received $40 million in an equity-financing round led by Portage.
  • The payments provider Paysafe Ltd. said it has entered the sports-betting market in Massachusetts, working with DraftKings Inc. and Caesar’s Entertainment Inc.
  • The cryptocurrency exchange OKX said it has launched technology from Alchemy Pay that will let consumers buy crypto using their local fiat money. OKX reports more than 20 million active users in more than 180 countries use its services.
  • Pinwheel, a fintech that enables permissioned access to employee income and employment accounts, has joined Visa Inc.’s Fintech Partner Connect program, which assists companies in building payment services that conform to Visa’s security and functionality standards.
  • Cross River Bank said it will work with FinClusive a technology provider, to enable account and payment services for the financially underserved.
  • Payments provider eProcessing Network said Melanie Cabello, its director of partner development, was elected to the advisory board of the Northeast Acquirers Association.
