Finix Tags New Merchant Market And Other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/4/23

  • Finix Payments Inc. released its payments service for merchants that want to use embedded payments. Its first product was geared to software platforms. The new segment provides payments processing while enabling the merchant to control their customers’ online and in-person shopping experiences.
  • Aeropay, a cannabis industry payments provider, said it and Onfleet, a delivery management company, have made an integration that will offer delivery services to cannabis dispensaries.
  • Repay Holdings Corp. announced an integration with Optima Global Solutions, a software and services firm that enables paying vendors through Optima’s transcendAP software.
  • Wirex, a platform that enables payments via cryptocurrency for 5.5 million users worldwide, launched an affiliate program allowing third parties to invite potential users.
  • Grocery store operator Albertsons Companies Inc. said it is working with processor FIS Inc. to accept health benefit cards administered by Fresh Connect, PayForward, and WEX. Albertsons also will accept benefit cards from Soda Health.
  • Visa Inc. and EQ Bank have joined the Canadian Prepaid Providers Organization, a Toronto-based trade group.
