- Blockchain company Ripple unveiled its Ripple CBDC Platform, technology supporting central banks, governments, and financial institutions in issuing central bank digital currencies. More than 90% of the world’s countries are at some stage of development toward a CBDC, according to the Atlantic Council.

- The payments provider Airwallex said it is working with Expedia to offer Airwallex users a 10% discount on hotel stays when booking with the travel company.
- Cloud-communications provider Vonage said it is collaborating with Meta’s WhatsApp to offer payments through the messaging app in Singapore.
