Payments provider Usio Inc. says benefits administrator Genius Avenue will use multiple Usio payments products, including automated clearing house transfers and a prepaid card program, to serve its customers.
Announced Monday, the partnership integrates Usio’s payments services with the Genius Avenue platform. Tucson, Ariz.-based Genius Avenue is keen to tap these services for its regulated enterprise clients, such as those in insurance, benefits, and health care, Usio says.
Among the specific Usio services Genius Avenue plans to tap are commission and incentives automation and consolidation, offering access to payment facilitator services, point-of-sale lending, and digital disbursements, including prepaid cards, digital wallets, and virtual bank accounts.
The payments facilitator services in particular will use Usio’s application programming interface tech to make onboarding and management of ACH, credit, and debit transactions easier, Usio says. Genius Avenue’s use of another service, PayFac+, will help it with dynamic issuing and acquiring, and assist it with its product marketplace, called Genius Store Front, and digital disbursements.
Genius Avenue says the integration will improve its efficiency and flexibility in financial transactions. San Antonio-based Usio is no stranger to such integrations. In September it made a similar deal with FItli, an independent software provider for fitness professionals.
