Overfuel Adds Credit Reporting Tool And Other Digital Transactions News briefs from 12/22/23

  • Overfuel, a provider of online payments for automobile dealerships, has integrated credit reporting from 700Credit LLC to allow users to prequalify for credit on a dealer’s Web site or on a mobile phone.
  • Accounting platform Data Plus is teaming with Edenred Pay, a back-end payments provider for the hospitality industry, to launch DPPay, a single-platform invoice-payments service for hotels and restaurants
  • POSaBIT, a payments provider specializing in cannabis merchants, has filed to list its common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange. It currently trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange and over the counter. The move follows an announcement Thursday of its intention to complete a separate private placement.
  • Thumzup Media Corp., whose mobile app pays users to post approved messages about client events, said it has added the LA School of Comedy to its client roster.
  • ZipBy, whose mobile app allows drivers to pay for parking, announced it is donating a portion of each transaction to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank through Jan. 15. Parking lots in greater Vancouver are among ZipBy’s clients. In a crowded market for parking apps, Australia-based ZipBy claims its product is the only one that includes on-street, off-street, and surface-lot parking in a single app.
  • Payments provider RevoluGroup Canada Inc. announced an agreement with telecom Skylink Global S.L. to offer services to Sklylink customers, including Visa Direct for instant payments.
