Nium’s New Zealand Expansion and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/16/24

  • Cross-border payments platform Nium has registered as a financial-service provider in New Zealand. The company, which maintains headquarters offices in San Francisco and Singapore, claims licenses and registrations in more than 40 countries.
  • Payments provider Dejavoo announced a corporate rebranding and an overhauled Web site.
  • Cigo Tracker, a delivery app, released a digital-tipping application as more and more consumers convert from cash to digital payments.
  • Rapid Finance, a banking platform aimed at small businesses, launched its Rapid Access Mastercard, issued by SoFi Bank, a unit of SoFi Technologies Inc. Galileo Financial Technologies, another unit of SoFi Technologies, also participated in creating the program.
  • Lescault and Walderman, a provider of financial services to small businesses, will offer to its clients software from Quipli, a technology provider to the equipment-rental market. The Quipli technology includes payments, billing, and marketing services.
