  • Flywire Corp., a specialist in payments for higher education, said it has widened the availability of its third-party invoicing platform, which lets third parties pay tuition and fees on behalf of students.
  • Buy now, pay later provider Afterpay said Gen Z consumers—those born between 1997 and 2012—increased first-quarter 2024 spending at small and medium-size businesses by 11% year-over-year.
  • Gift card network Tillo announced Finfare Connect, a personalized rewards platform, will use its embedded rewards and incentives platform for expansion into the United States, having worked together in the United Kingdom.
  • PayJoy, a lender to underserved consumers in emerging markets, launched the PayJoy Card, a Mastercard Inc.-branded card currently available in Mexico.
  • The payments fintech Swaps has launched PaymentLinks, a platform that lets users send a payment request in the form of a link with a QR code for scanning by the recipient.
  • Tyler Technologies Inc. said the Florida Department of Corrections has gone live with the company’s platform for digital money transfers to inmates at 128 facilities across the state.
