Nuvei’s New Services and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 9/25/24

  • Payments processor Nuvei Corp. launched a number of new services, including decoupled pay-ins and payouts, and split payments.
  • Embedded-finance fintech Sunbit announced an integration with payments-technology platform Stripe. The move will bring Sunbit’s services to a wider array of in-person service businesses, the company says.
  • Business-automation provider BlueBean Technologies Inc. said it has completed an integration with American Express that will widen payment options for AmEx business and corporate card users in the U.S. market.
  • Restaurant point-of-sale provider Lavu said it is adding a payroll-technology offering through an integration with Check, a payroll-software platform.
  • Business-payments platform TreviPay launched enhancements to its payments platform for commercial-equipment dealers. Additions include capture of transaction line-item details in real time.
  • CellPoint Digital, a specialist in payments in the airline industry, has launched its APM Hub, an offering of 168 payment methods available to CellPoint clients.
  • Africa-based remittance platform Flutterwave announced it is expanding its service into 49 U.S. states via a connection to Main Street Bank.
  • Some 54% of U.S. citizens surveyed by Verra Mobility Corp. said they would enable in-car payments if such a service were available in their car, according to a survey of 2,000 people by the provider of mobility technologies.
