Clearent’s New PayFac Service and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 10/22/24

  • Clearent by Xplor launched its payfac as a service product to help software companies more easily embed payment acceptance into their applications.
  • Fiserv Inc. announced it has agreed to build financial services into the digital platform operated by DoorDash, the online delivery service.
  • Payments provider Shift4 Payments Inc. announced it will acquire transactions for Payter, a Europe-based provider of technology for unattended payments.
  • Point-of-sale services provider CardFlight received what it labeled a significant minority investment from equity firm WestView Capital Partners. Terms were not disclosed. Kevin Twomey, WestView principal, will join the CardFlight board of directors.
  • Dispute management provider Chargebacks911 released some guidelines for merchants considering how to adapt to the new Federal Trade Commission click-to-cancel rule for subscriptions.
  • Banking services provider Finzly said its BankOS Platform, which integrated the FedNow real-time payments service, is available on the AWS Marketplace.

  • Nacha, the regulatory body for the automated clearing house network, said it has designated LexisNexis Risk Solutions its preferred partner as official registrar of routing numbers.
  • Entrust Corp. said The Huntington National Bank will use the Entrust digital card service to enable instant provisioning of Huntington-issued credit and debit cards to third-party wallets from its mobile banking app.
  • The card-issuing platform Marqeta Inc. launched UX Toolkit and Portfolio Migrations. The former enables clients to build payments services with fewer required resources; the latter simplifies card program uploads for clients.
