DiningData Marks $1 Billion in Processing Volume and other Digital Transactions News briefs

• Processing-software vendor Womply has launched an analytics tool called Retention Intelligence to help acquirers identify merchants likely to leave the portfolio.

• A 2-year-old startup called diningData, which processes payments and analyzes data for restaurants, announced it is now handling $1 billion in annual volume. The company is a division of Hadfield Ventures LLC.

• Star Micronics announced an integrated mobile point-of-sale product incorporating mobile POS software from e-Nabler Corp., printers from Star Micronics, and a touchscreen solution from Elo.

• Payments-advisory firm Mercator Advisory Group released “Making Merchant Mobile Payment Apps More Engaging,” a research note that examines the factors influencing consumer adoption of mobile-payments services.

• Carrier-billing specialist Boku appointed Gillian Davies chief financial officer. Davies joins the company from Banner Managed Communication.
