• Q2 Holdings Inc., a vendor of virtual-banking solutions to regional and community financial institutions, announced its plan to begin supporting the origination of same-day automated clearing house transactions on Sept. 23, the day the first phase of a three-phase introduction of same-day ACH is set to begin, as determined by NACHA, the rules-setting organization for the ACH.
• Processor Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (FIS) reported a 45.3% increase in second-quarter revenue, to $2.3 billion from $1.6 billion in the year-ago period. FIS recently announced a deal with Payment Alliance International to provide its Cardless Cash ATM service to PAI’s 70,000 cash machines.
• Convenience-store chain Speedway LLC will use NCR Corp.’s OPTIC pay-at-the-pump terminals for the 2,270 stores, NCR announced. The payment terminals are EMV-ready and come with a contactless reader, a bar code scanner, and magnetic-stripe reader.
• Merchant processor Elite Card Processing LLC announced an EMV-enabled pay-at-table or tip-adjust solution for restaurants using a Micros, Aloha, POSiTouch, InfoGenesis, or Dinerware system.
• Retail-solutions vendor IQMetrix will integrate its point-of-sale system with EMV-enabled terminals from Ingenico Group.
• Security firm Entersekt agreed to provide an adaptation of the 3-D Secure online security system to payment-system provider Netcetera. Entersekt’s product replaces 3-D Secure static passwords with mobile authentication.
• ClickSure, an open-market affiliate network, has agreed to use Transpay, a specialist in cross-border payout technology, to pay commissions to more than 400,000 affiliates globally.
