• Mobile point-of-sale service provider Cardflight announced that processor BluePay Processing LLC is now offering the Cardflight SwipeSimple service to merchants.
• Revel Systems, provider of iPad-based point-of-sale technology, and Intuit Inc. expanded an existing partnership to bring Intuit QuickBooks Point of Sale services to salon and grocery retailers. The partnership started out in the restaurant and retail segments.
• Starting Aug. 17, ACI Worldwide will provide cash, credit, and debit card payment processing at new kiosks in three locations in Tallahassee, Fla., that allow local residents to pay their utility bills.
• Diebold Inc. completed its acquisition of German ATM maker Wincor Nixdorf AG for $1.28 billion in cash and stock; the combined company will be known as Diebold Nixdorf.
• Payments-services company Compass Plus Ltd. said it received aggregator accreditation from the Faster Payments Scheme Ltd. in the United Kingdom.
• EMV chip card maker CPI Card Group appointed Lane R. Dubin senior vice president of sales and marketing. Dubin formerly was head of global sales for American Express Co.’s global business-travel segment.
