- Processor Fiserv Inc. said VyStar Credit Union, which ranks 17th among U.S. credit unions by asset size, has become the company’s first client to adopt an enhanced mobile-banking platform that offers newly introduced card controls. The controls allow cardholders to set rules for when, where, and how their cards can be used.
- Revention, a point-of-sale services provider for the hospitality industry, said it will integrate its platform with First Data Corp.’s CardConnect service, giving Revention users access to point-to-point data encryption, tokenization, and support for EMV, contactless, and mobile payments.
- Retail ATM network owner and operator Cardtronics plc said that through an extended relationship with Santander Bank, bank customers can use an additional 200 Cardtronics ATMs fee-free in the Northeast. The ATMs are now Santander-branded and include machines in most Market Basket stores in Massachusetts and additional CVS Pharmacy stores.
- Rivetz, a mobile-security services company, announced its purchase of DISC Holdings Ltd., developer of mobile blockchain-based payment applications. Terms were not disclosed.
