- Rambus Inc. announced its token gateway for e-commerce is one of the first such services to be certified by the Visa Ready program. The gateway streamlines links to the Visa Token Service to tokenize payment credentials for merchants, payment service providers, and merchants.
- Mobile-payments specialist Glance Technologies Inc. said its Glance Pay and Glance PayMe services are integrated with 15 point-of-sale systems.
- Convenience-store giant 7-Eleven Inc. said that it will be adding acceptance of the Google Pay mobile-payment service at most of its stores this month. 7-Eleven already accepts Samsung Pay, and Apple Inc. recently announced that the chain would take Apple Pay.

- Processor Bill.com said its service is now available internationally, allowing companies to pay vendors in almost 40 countries in dollars as well as local currencies.
- Digital-remittance processor Remitly has expanded its service to 11 more send countries across Europe, bringing to 15 the number of send countries served.
- Speedpay, a unit of The Western Union Co., signed a five-year agreement to provide payment services to Denver Water, a utility that serves 1.4 million people.
- In related news, Western Union said it has expanded its international digital-remittance capability to Mexico.
- Payments-technology vendor ACI Worldwide launched two new services to help banks take advantage of a global payments service from Swift, the global cross-border payments network.
