Nacha Cancels 2020 Payments Event and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 3/16/20

Nacha’s Smarter Faster Payments 2020 Conference has been canceled because of concerns related to the novel coronavirus. Nacha said it is trying to develop a free virtual event with select educational content. Next year’s conference is scheduled for April 25-28 in San Francisco.
Dueling bills have been introduced in the Delaware Legislature that would require stores to accept cash. They differ mainly over penalties.
Marketing services provider Cardlytics Inc. said U.S. Bank will begin a phased launch of the Cardlytics Direct offers program under a new five-year agreement.

Food-delivery service Grubhub Inc. announced it is temporarily suspending collection of up to $100 million in commission payments from restaurants affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak. Grubhub is the parent company of mobile-payment service LevelUp.
Chargebacks911 named Keith Clay “KC” Fox its chief product officer. Fox previously was senior vice president of technical services at Radial, an eBay Inc. company.
