- Fiserv Inc. said it has begun processing all in-store payments at 2,250 ALDI Nord stores in Germany through First Data Gmbh. Fiserv acquired First Data in 2019.
- Discover Financial Services said it will donate $25,000 to each of 200 restaurants owned by black proprietors. Nominations are being taken between now and Oct. 31.
- The E-Z Pass Interagency Group announced Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise and the State Road and Tollway Authority of Georgia will join the E-Z Pass electronic toll-tag network. The network links toll agencies in 18 states processing 43 million tags for 24 million accounts.
- XTM Inc., a card issuer and payment processor, said its automated data-collection technology, Tipstoday, is enabling digital gratuities for hair stylists working for brands owned by Regis Corp. Tipstoday links to stores’ point-of-sale systems.
- Money-transfer provider moneycorp Americas announced its expansion into Canada after two decades in the U.S. market.
- RSA Security said NewDay, a consumer-credit company based in the United Kingdom, has adopted RSA’s e-commerce authentication technology for fraud protection and to meet the requirements of the EMV 3-D Secure protocol.
- USA Technologies Inc. said it has appointed Davina Furnish general counsel and Eugene C. Cavanaugh interim chief financial officer. The moves continue a reorganization of the company, including new top management, that began earlier this year. USAT specializes in payment devices for vending machines.
