- Corcentric, a business-to-business payments provider, said it will go public via a merger with North American Merger Corp., a special purpose acquisition company. The company’s network supports more than 450,000 buyers and more than 1.4 million suppliers and processes more than $100 billion in volume annually.
- Chainalysis, a provider of blockchain data, said it will provide its “know your transaction” (KYT) security service for payments conducted on the Lightning network, a blockchain designed for small-value Bitcoin transactions.
- Greenshades Software, a provider of payroll and human-resources compliance software, has agreed to integrate a bank account and debit card option from Branch, provider of the Branch Wallet.
- Mystifly, a Singapore-based provider of technology for airline-travel sales, said it is launching a payments network called MystiPay for the travel industry. The company is collaborating on the new service with Diners Club International, a unit of Discover Network.
- Tynker, a coding platform for students from kindergarten through high school, will issue gift cards online through Blackhawk Network and, starting in January, in stores.
