- U.S. Bank said it will launch in the first quarter a real-time payments component to its bill service. It will use the Request for Payment tool that is part of The Clearing House Payments Co. LLC’s Real Time Payments service. The same service launched for U.S. Bank business customers in November.
- Cloud-software provider Insurity said its Sure Claims Payments service will provide digital payments to policyholders at no fee for property and casualty carriers through the end of the year. Carriers must sign a three-year contract by June 30.
- Payments-technology provider Rev Worldwide Inc. said a multi-year agreement with tourism agency Visit Mexico includes the X World Wallet, a mobile app linked to physical and digital Visa cards.
- ParkMobile LLC said its launch in the city of College Station, Texas, has resulted so far in the replacement of all single-space meters with the ParkMobile app. The company, whose mobile app enables users to reserve and pay for parking, claims 47,000 users in the city and 30 million in North America.
- Tricoci Salons & Spas launched a new app that includes the ability to pay via Apple Pay or Google Pay, check in or out, and track rewards points, among other features. The company operates 13 locations in the Chicago area.
- Payments-technology provider Quisitive Technology Solutions Inc. appointed Harland Clarke executive Jana Schmidt to the new position of president of global payments solutions.
