Jack Henry Supports New TCH Network and Other Digital Transactions News Briefs

• Processor Jack Henry & Associates Inc. said its JHA Payment Solutions unit will hook into the The Clearing House Payment Co.’s pending real-time payment system, which could bring 6,300 banks and credit unions served by Jack Henry into the new network.

• Digital Check Corp. launched two products this week at the BAI Payments Connect Conference. The first is SecureLink, a service that enables Digital Check scanners to operate without being tethered to a dedicated workstation. The other is Vault by Digital Check, software that simplifies vault deposit procedures.

• Rawls Distributing Co., a vending-machine operator, has expanded USA Technologies Inc.’s ePort Connect contactless payment system to all of its machines. EPort Connect works with near-field communication (NFC) and supports card payments as well as mobile wallets.

• ATM network operator Cardtronics Inc. said its Allpoint surcharge-free network now includes QuikTrip locations in Phoenix.

• U.S. Oil, a petroleum distributor that is a division of U.S. Venture Inc., says its retailers will have access to financing programs from Prairie Capital, a unit of State Bank and Trust Co., to pay for point-of-sale upgrades necessary for the EMV migration at fuel pumps.

• Merchant services provider Total Merchant Services named Allan Lacoste, who previously held chief executive and president roles with payments companies, as its director of ISO. Lacoste will oversee TMS’s independent sales organization efforts.

• Heartland Payment Systems Inc. will provide payroll, payment processing and lending services to small and midsize business clients of America’s Best 401k, a retirement plan provider.

• Physician’s Mutual Insurance Co. has launched the ETran Integrated Receivables platform from Financial Transmission Network Inc.

• PayPal Holdings Inc. will work with Village Capital, an entrepreneur advisor, to provide PayPal employee expertise to startup organizations.
