Mobeewave P2P Service Leaves Test Phase and other Digital Transactions News briefs

Canada-based Mobeewave is making its PayMeTap mobile peer-to-peer app available to consumers across Canada. The free app had been in testing. The Android app enables consumers to accept a payment by tapping a phone with a contactless credit card.

 

Payments company BillingTree Inc. launched the Payrazr Marketplace, which offers a variety of payments products. BillingTree also launched the myPayrazr IVR automated telephone-payment service.

Payments provider i3 Verticals LLC said its subsidiary Data Business Systems has changed its name to PaySchools to better reflect its business, which is providing payment-processing solutions to more than 8,000 schools in 43 states.
