A Spend Card from Visa and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/30/24

  • Keys Inc., a technology platform for locksmiths, has launched the Keys Visa Spend Card, issued by Celtic Bank. The card allows locksmiths to receive earnings instantly, with processing by Stripe Inc.
  • Payments-technology provider Transcard said it worked with the University of Tennessee Athletics Department to gain naming rights for and launch the Transcard Premier Club at the university’s Neyland Stadium. The club offers “premier” seating and “enhanced” amenities, Transcard says. The company says it supports payments for 550 businesses and more than 200 banks.
  • Trulioo, a Canada-based provider of identity-verification technology, said remittance-related transactions through its platform have grown 142% year-to-date compared to the same period last year. The company did not release an absolute figure.
  • Nium, a processor of cross-border payments with headquarters offices in San Francisco and Singapore, said it is expanding its office in Vilnius, Lithuania with more hires, a new office, and the appointment of a new board chairman, former AirPlus International executive Spencer Hanlon, for the Lithuania operation.
