Accel-KKR Picks up Accertify and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 5/3/24

  • Accertify, which provides fraud prevention, chargeback management, account protection, and gateway services, said private equity firm Accel-KKR completed the acquisition of the company from American Express Co., which it acquired in 2010. Terms were not disclosed.

  • Banking veteran Brett Pitts has joined the board of DailyPay, an earned-wage access platform. Pitts most recently was head of North American treasury and payments solutions for BMO Financial Group.
  • Intuit Inc. appointed Vasant Prabhu to its board of directors. Prabhu was chief financial officer at Visa Inc. from 2015 to 2023, and vice chairman at the company from 2019 to 2023.
