  • Payments provider Adyen NV launched two new services—Capital and Account, offering to small businesses cash advances, business bank accounts, and card-issuing capability.
  • Payment platform GoCardless launched Protect+, an anti-fraud service offering payor authentication, fraud monitoring, and chargeback challenges.
  • Payments-technology provider Payoneer said it has collaborated with e-commerce platform WooCommerce to enable Payoneer Checkout via a plug-in for small and medium-size businesses.
  • Payroc World Access LLC launched an API and developer documentation Web site.
  • Ramsey Solutions, working with payments platform Netspend and neobank Pathward, launched Gazelle, a spending account linked to a debit card that aims to help consumers stay focused on money goals. The chief executive of Ramsey Solutions is noted financial advisor Dave Ramsey.
  • Fintech PayNearMe debuted PayNearMe Insights, a data analytics tool to help billers and gaming operators better measure and benchmark their payments data.
  • Business-to-business payments and invoicing provider TreviPay said it is working with BlueSnap Payments to add card-based payments processing for B2B e-commerce and marketplaces to its platform.
  • Approximately 85% of consumers in a new survey from Entrust indicated they prefer to use a card for in-person and online transactions that also offers digital self-service and controls. One thousand U.S. retail shoppers were surveyed.
