• Processor Jack Henry & Associates Inc. will resell the Zelle person-to-person payments service to its financial-institution clients under a new agreement with Zelle’s owner, Early Warning Services LLC.
• Affirm Inc., whose technology allows consumers to pay over time for online purchases, said it is now integrated with four new e-commerce platforms: Kibo Commerce, BigCommerce, AspDotNetStoreFront, and Zen-Cart. The company now works with 850 retailer clients.
• Payment gateway provider Shift4 Corp. and SilverWare POS, a developer of technology services for the hospitality industry, announced the availability of their joint EMV payments service.
• USAA has added six new features to its digital wallet, including the ability to load data for auto-insurance and Medicare Supplement ID cards. The wallet also now supports Samsung Pay for Visa and American Express cards, adding to existing support for Apple Pay and Android Pay.
• Mobile point-of-sale provider ShopKeep.com Inc. announced its Pocket app is available for Android devices. Used by more than 23,000 businesses, Pocket allows clients using smart phones to monitor their businesses in real-time.
• Mobile-commerce technology vendor Sionic Mobile has integrated its ION Commerce Engine with Oracle’s Hospitality Micros POS solution, enabling what it calls a “cardless, three-digit checkout experience” at restaurants.
• In related news, restaurant-management platform Upserve introduced its Breadcrumb EMV solution, which it says is “the only EMV kit designed specifically for restaurants.” Upserve acquired the Breadcrumb business in May from Groupon Inc.
• Processor Noventis Inc. has expanded its biller network to more than 100,000 billers in an effort to enable more small businesses to accept electronic payments in place of paper checks.
• Mobile-payment technology provider Net Element Inc. will offer several of Conformance Technologies LLC’s data-security products to merchants, including PCI ToolKit in English, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish.
