- NCR Corp. will close two Georgia factories and one in Beijing, China, to streamline manufacturing, theAtlanta Business Chronicle reported. NCR will outsource the manufacturing of ATMs and self-service checkout systems now done in Georgia to contract manufacturer Jabil Inc., which has produced various components for NCR for nearly 10 years. The closures will affect 360 full-time workers and possibly another 679 contract workers.
- Co-Op Financial Services named Jim Hanisch as president of the Co-Op Network. Hanisch joined the credit-union services company in 2000 and has been the chief operating officer since April 2017.
