- Shopmonkey Inc., a software provider for automotive-repair shops, raised $25 million in a Series B round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The company’s cloud-based system handles payment processing as well as other functions.
- The proportion of U.S. consumers shopping at online-only retailers with a mobile device jumped to 33% this year, up from 16% in 2018, according to Mercator Advisory Group’s “Buyer Payments Insights – The Organic Move to Mobile” report, which surveyed 3,000 adults in late February and early March.
