BofA Card Volume Increases 4% and other Digital Transactions News briefs

• Bank of America Corp. reported combined credit and debit card purchase volume of $134.3 billion in the fourth quarter, up 4% from $129.5 billion a year earlier and up 6% when adjusted for earlier divestitures.

• Wells Fargo & Co. reported debit card purchase volume of $78.4 billion in the fourth quarter, up 7% year-over-year. Credit card purchase volume also rose 7% to $20.2 billion.

• Cambridge Global Payments has signed a three-year agreement to become the payments provider for the Women’s Tennis Association.

• NCR Corp. said retailer Helzberg Diamonds is using NCR Connected Payments to aid its payments-security efforts.

• Payments provider FreedomPay Inc. announced its platform is now integrated into Microsoft Dynamics 365, a business-software technology.

• Signifyd, a provider of anti-fraud tools for e-commerce merchants, has hired Chendong Zou as vice president of engineering. Zou is expected to lead the company’s efforts in machine learning.
