Point-of-sale specialist CardFlight Inc. extended the ability to create invoices to its SwipeSimple app, a feature that was previously only available via the Web version. Meanwhile, Fiserv Inc. says the Prudential Center, where the National Hockey League New Jersey Devils play, will adopt Clover Sport point-of-sale hardware and software.
New York City-based CardFlight says more than 125,000 small businesses use its SwipeSimple product. Now the company says they can create, send, and manage invoices from the app, eliminating the need to find a desktop or laptop device to do so. CardFlight says extending invoicing to the app was a priority for 2024.
“The expansion of invoicing to the SwipeSimple mobile app is a powerful tool that allows field and home services businesses to quickly create an invoice at the time of finishing a job or transaction, rather than spending time invoicing back in the office at the end of a long day,” CardFlight says.
CardFlight introduced invoicing capabilities in 2019. The company says its customer base includes more than 350 business verticals.
In other point-of-sale news, Brookfield, Wis.-based Fiserv Inc. says the Prudential Center is now one of more than 300 venues to use Clover Sport, including 50 in the United States. More than 300 Clover devices will be installed at the Prudential Center, with contact, contactless, and touchless purchasing capabilities. The venue also regularly hosts Seton Hall University men’s basketball games in addition to concerts and other special events.
Fiserv acquired the Clover point-of-sale technology in 2019 as part of its $22-billion acquisition of the processor First Data Corp.
