- Money transfer provider Remitly said it is acquiring Rewire, an Israel-based financial services platform for migrant workers, for approximately $80 million in cash and stock.
- Payments provider FIS Inc. has appointed John Durrant president of its banking solutions unit, succeeding Martin Boyd, who will remain with FIS until his retirement at year’s end. Durrant is a veteran of Bank of America, Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Capital One.
