Clover Adds Grubhub Integration and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 8/25/21

  • Fiserv Inc. announced an integration between its Clover point-of-sale technology and the business-management platform Grubhub in an effort aimed at helping independent restaurants manage and fulfill online orders.
  • Payments provider Fattmerchant Inc. said its Stax platform is working with TimeSolv, a firm-management service for law practices, to manage billing and invoicing, and process payments, for legal firms.
  • Linktree, a platform that enables e-commerce for artists, publishers, and other businesses, announced it has enabled its Commerce Links payment-acceptance technology globally through a connection with PayPal Holdings Inc.
  • Billing and payments management provider Chargezoom announced North American Bancard will offer Chargezoom’s services to its merchants.
  • WeCommerce Holdings Ltd., a vendor of software tools for e-commerce transactions, announced it has closed on its previously announced acquisition of “substantially all” of the assets of Archetype Themes Inc., a developer of themes used by more than 60,000 merchants on the Shopify platform. Terms are $20 million upfront and contingent consideration of up to $12 million.
  • TableSafe Inc., a provider of tabletop payment technology for restaurants, announced it has received PCI P2PE (point-to-point encryption) validation from the PCI Security Standards Council.
  • A payments-platform startup called Qolo said it raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by The Raptor Group.
  • Authentication services provider authID.ai said credit union service organization CU NextGen integrated the company’s platform and will begin offering it to credit unions.
  • Affinipay LLC, a payments provider for legal, accounting, and other professional services, appointed Robert Alvarez, chief financial officer at BigCommerce Inc., to its board.
