  • Bluewater Grill Restaurants, with seven locations in Southern California and Phoenix, has deployed the Rail pay-at-table platform from TableSafe Inc.
  • Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, will continue to attract consumers to stores. A study from Deloitte found that 70% of U.S. consumers plan to shop in a store that day and 47% plan to shop online. On average, consumers expect to spend $427 between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, the Monday following Thanksgiving.
  • In related news, a survey from RetailMeNot Inc. said that 87% of consumers plan to visit a physical store in December and 63% are likely to make a purchase at a special in-store event.
