CredBuild’s Renters Reporting and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 5/28/24

  • Fintech CredBuild said it is working with BloomCredit to enable renters to report rent payments to credit bureaus via property management systems. BloomCredit provides the API codes.
  • PayIt, a specialist in government payments, said the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will use PayIt for a new digital fish-licensing system.
  • Waystar Holding Corp., a developer of health-care payments software in use by approximately 30,000 clients, launched an initial public offering of 45 million shares of its common stock at an estimated initial price between $20 and $23 per share, with trading set for the Nasdaq.
  • Money-transfer platform TerraPay said it will work with XTransfer, a cross-border payments service, to offer payments technology to small and medium-size companies that rely on international business.
  • PayPal Holdings Inc. announced it has hired Mark Grether as senior vice president and general manager for PayPal Ads, an advertising platform the company plans to build. Grether joins the company from Uber, where he was vice president of Uber Advertising. PayPal has also hired John Anderson as senior vice president and general manager for its consumer group, which includes product strategy for PayPal and Venmo. Anderson comes to the company from Plaid Inc., and before that worked for Meta.
  • Paystand, a business-to-business payments platform that relies on blockchain technology, appointed Allison Grieb chief sales officer. Grieb comes to the company from Recurly, a developer of subscription-management software.
