- Cross-border payments network, Singapore-based Thunes Ltd., has launched Thunes Business Payments, aimed at merchants, banks, and mobile-wallet developers.
- BlytzPay, an 8-year-old collections and payments startup, said it has reached the 100 mark in active clients.
- Payments provider Fortis Payment Systems LLC named Brad Bialas chief commercial officer and Kimling Lam chief marketing officer. Bialas has held executive positions at BluePay, Moov, SwervPay, and Xformative. Lam’s previous employers include Adyen, Checkout.com, Worldpay, and FIS.
- Global payments platform FastSpring named Lindsay Walker chief customer officer. Walker was formerly an executive at Adyen and Checkout.com.
- Blockchain-technology firm BTCS Inc. said the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission ended an investigation of the company with no enforcement action recommended. The investigation concerned whether certain BTC activities could be regarded as securities offerings under federal law.
