- Subscription management specialist Recurly Inc. released its 2024 State of Subscriptions report that found 45.5% of consumers chose debit as the subscription payment method, followed by credit cards, 33%, PayPal, 19.3%, and other alternative payment methods, 2.2%.
- Wise, a platform for international money transfers, said junk fees associated with credit cards and other services are “negatively affecting” financial situations for 56% of consumers surveyed by the company, with 51% reporting a “negative influence on their emotional well-being.” Morning Consult conducted the poll Nov. 2 to Nov. 9 among 2,006 persons in the United States.

- Pavilion Payments, a payments provider for the gaming industry, announced it has contributed to the International Center for Responsible Gaming to support the group’s research. The amount was not announced.
- Processor Jack Henry & Associates Inc. announced Greg Adelson, currently president and chief operating officer, will become president and chief executive July 1 upon the retirement of CEO and board chair David Foss. At that time, Foss will become executive board chair.
- Payments provider MassPay named Marcelo Bernal its president and chief operating officer. Bernal previously held positions at Citibank, HSBC, and Goldman Sachs.
