Eye on Acquiring: Jaris’s New White-Label Merchant Onboarding; Shift4’s Great Wolf Expansion

Embedded financial services specialist Jaris Inc. has launched a merchant onboarding service for independent sales organizations, processors, banks, and platforms. The Jaris utility enables merchants to apply for payment processing services and a suite of value-added services, such as business lending, instant payouts and banking services, through a single, pre-populated application.

In addition to using pre-populated forms during the onboarding process, the new service supports Plaid bank account validation and real-time error handling to ensure clean data collection, Jaris says. Plaid is an open-banking services provider.

Merchants will also have access to a suite of pre-configured services such as embedded lending, instant payouts, and banking, that can increase revenues by more than 50%, the company adds.

“By combining payment processing with embedded business lending, instant payouts and banking services into one seamless onboarding experience, we help partners drive growth, reduce risk, and provide valuable financial tools to their customers in the most frictionless way possible,” Jaris chief executive and founder Chris Aristides says in a statement.

In related news, Shift4 Payments Inc. will provide payments processing to all 22 Great Wolf Lodge Resorts Inc. in the United States. The deal will enable Great Wolf to consolidate its payment processing and business intelligence systems into a single platform.

Great Wolf Resorts, which is exploring international expansion, expects to use Shift4’s platform to accept payment outside the United States. Great Wolf, which operates indoor water park resorts, recently opened locations in Texas and Florida and is scheduled to open another location in Connecticut later this year.
