- Fiserv Inc. said CB&S Bank is the 500th financial institution added to the Zelle network via the processor. Zelle is the person-to-person payments service from Early Warning Services LLC.
- DaVinci Payments and North Lane Technologies (formerly Wirecard North America) jointly announced the completion of a previously announced merger. The combined business will operate under the name Syncapay Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
- Complete Merchant Solutions said it reached an agreement with the Federal Trade Commission involving the independent sales organization’s lawsuit against the FTC alleging the commission exceeded its authority in its investigation of CMS. The investigation focused on three merchants that CMS serviced between 2010 and 2016. As part of the settlement, neither CMS nor Jack Wilson, its chief executive in that period, admitted to any of the FTC’s allegations.
- Fraud prevention specialist Forter said Nuvei Corp. is joining its network to enable Nuvei merchants access to Forter’s data.
- Square Inc. added Square Appointments, a point-of-sale service for beauty and wellness merchants, to its Square Register device.
- Debt Logic, provider of software platforms for debt management in the rental-property market, has renamed itself Pay Ready.
- Diebold Nixdorf Inc. released Vynamic FCx, a cloud-based platform for fuel and convenience retailers.
- Passport, provider of mobile payment for parking, said its service is available in downtown Troy, N.Y.
