  • Fiserv Inc. said it has closed on its previously announced acquisition of Payfare Inc., a Toronto-based earned-wage access firm, for approximately $193 million Canadian, or $133 million U.S.
  • Health-care payments provider RevSpring Inc. launched Let’s Talk, a virtual agent created via artificial intelligence to handle inbound calls from patients, including answering questions and directing callers to relevant departments.
  • PayPal Holdings Inc. introduced PayPal Frenzy, an online sales event in Australia, partnering with online offers firm Click Frenzy to feature offers from more than 200 online sellers.
  • Consulting IQ has joined Visa Inc.’s Visa SavingsEdge, a program aimed at fostering growth for small and medium-size businesses.
  • Nacha has designated Identifee, a provider of an ACH rules-reference platform based on artificial intelligence, as a Preferred Partner for ACH Experience. Nacha is the rule-setting body for the automated clearing house network.
  • The banking and payments platform Green Dot Corp. appointed Kim Olson chief risk officer. Olson comes to the company from Discover Financial Services.
  • Stablecoin platform 1Money Co. unveiled its leadership, including cofounder Matthew Shroder as president and chief operating officer and former Ripple executive Brett Enclade as chief information officer.
