- The Worldwide Stablecoin Payment Network, which goes by WSPN, has raised $30 million in a Seed funding round led by Folius Ventures and Foresight Venture. The funding will support WSPN’s Stablecoin 2.0 project, the company said.
- Payments provider Deluxe Corp. said Angela L. Brown was elected to its board of directors. For 10 years Brown was president and chief executive of Moneris Solutions Corp.
- Verde Financial Solutions Inc., a payment processor specializing in the cannabis industry, said it has appointed Crystal Morris as its chief executive, replacing Cameron Binion, who was fired for what the company calls “ethical, moral, and legal issues.”
