- Flywire Corp., a processor specializing in education payments and other cross-border transactions, said it notched “record results” over the past year in payments processed and students and institutions served. Among other results, the company said it added 300 schools, bringing its total to more than 1,300.

- Spire Payments Holdings S.a.r.l. announced it named T.K. Cheung as president. Chief among his tasks is to oversee the company’s “aggressive expansion” into North America, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
- Modo Payments, whose technology focuses on enabling interoperability between payments systems, appointed Matthew Leavenworth to its staff. Leavenworth is a former Bank of America and Amazon.com executive.
