Fundbox’s Visa Debit Card and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 6/1/22

  • Visa Inc. has collaborated with working-capital platform Fundbox to launch the Fundbox Flex Visa debit card, issued by Pathward N.A.
  • KindTap Technologies, a payments provider specializing in the cannabis industry, has integrated with Dispense, an e-commerce platform, to allow merchants using Dispense to accept credit card and automated clearing house payments in all states where cannabis is legal.
  • With travel expected to rebound, 73% of travelers want to be able to use their mobile device at hotels to check in, check out, order food, and pay, according to a global survey of 5,266 consumers this spring by Oracle Hospitality.
  • Trustly AB, a platform offering digital account-to-account transactions, has acquired Ecospend, a United Kingdom-based open-banking payments platform. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
  • Forex, a currency exchange provider in the Nordic countries, selected Diebold Nixdorf to manage its ATM fleet, Diebold Nixdorf said. Forex has 80 branches in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway. Forex also will adopt the DN Series ATMs from the U.S.-based ATM maker.
