Global Payments Renews Caesars Contract and other Digital Transactions News briefs

• Payment technology provider ACI Worldwide Inc. said it will make its UP Immediate Payments service available to financial institutions and credit unions of all sizes.

• Merchant processor Global Payments Inc. renewed its contract with Caesars Entertainment Corp.

• In a Mastercard Inc. promotion, consumers who use a Mastercard credit, debit, or prepaid card at a BJ’s Wholesale Club location, or at BJs.com, by May 3 will have a chance to win a trip for two to this year’s Major League Baseball All-Star game in Miami.

• Online transaction processor Allied Wallet, whose solutions work in 196 countries, said it now accepts more than 100 payment methods worldwide.

• The Chargeback Co. has hired Carolyn Sweeney, formerly of Mastercard, as director of global business development. The company is known as Chargebacks911 in the United States.
