- Payments industry veterans Will Graylin and George Wallner launched a fundraising campaign on Indiegogo for OV Valet, their new company that wants to offer Superkey, a fob that uses near-field communication and magnetic secure transmission technology, to enable tap-and-pay payments.
- Payments-technology provider VoPay International Inc. said it is working with Visa Inc. to integrate the push-payment network Visa Direct as the underpinnings of VoPay Instant, a new real-time disbursement service.

- Payments-technology provider Versapay Corp. announced it has completed a merger with payments provider Solupay. The combined company will specialize in business-to-business payments and operate as Versapay. Terms were not disclosed.
- Mobile parking app provider ParkMobile LLC announced an agreement with the borough of Westwood, N.J., to enable residents and visitors to pay for parking via the ParkMobile app at more than 800 spaces.
- E-commerce site Etsy offers Klarna’s buy now, pay later service, Klarna announced.
- Point-of-sale installment lender Afterpay Ltd. said it will offer savings accounts and cash-flow tools to customers in Australia through Westpac Banking Corp.
- Euronet Worldwide Inc.’s Ria Money Transfer service struck a deal with cross-border payments provider Thunes to enable P2P payments to mobile-wallet users and bank-account holders in markets like Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
- FIS Inc.’s Worldpay unit obtained a domestic card scheme acquiring license in Argentina.
