- Retailer Hollister Co. announced Share2Pay, a payment option that enables consumers to share their digital shopping bag with their purchaser, such as a parent or grandparent, to complete the purchase. Developed in-house, the service, in testing, found that customers who shared their bags placed orders at almost twice the rate of other customers, Hollister said.
- The Bank of America Institute released its latest Consumer Checkpoint report that found total credit and debit card spend, which comprises 20% of total payments, increased 9% in September from September 2021.
- Uber Technologies Inc. announced a self-sign-up product that automates integrations with the Toast and Clover point-of-sale systems. This makes it easier for restaurants to enroll in the Uber Eats food delivery service, Uber said.

- Prepaid card specialist Blackhawk Network Holdings Inc. is supporting gift cards for Calm, provider of an app for sleep, meditation, and relaxation in more than 190 countries.
- The fueling app GasBuddy launched Loyalty Connect to allow users to link loyalty accounts held with various gas-station brands.
- Payments and banking fintech Airwallex closed a Series E extension at an unchanged $5.5-billion valuation.
- Advanced Fraud Solutions named Beverly Nichols product manager. Nichols had been manager of product delivery and management at Fiserv Inc.
