- Mobile-wallet developer Humbl Inc. announced an integration with food-delivery platform Great Foods2Go that will include the integration of Humbl’s Humbl Wallet, Humbl Pay, Humbl Search Engine, and Humbl Marketplace capabilities.
- Bank of America announced it has added a sign-in capability by QR code for its CashPro platform, a payments utility for client companies. The new feature lets users log in by using the CashPro app to scan a QR code and their biometrics, replacing the need to enter a password.
- Paysafe Ltd., which has been steadily expanding the number of states in which it offers its sports-betting franchise, said it is supporting credit and debit card payments as well as automated clearing house transfers for sports betting in Kansas.
- Visa Inc. said it has launched a new version of its video game Financial Soccer, which allows players to score by answering questions regarding money management. Visa is the official payment technology sponsor for the FIFA World Cup.
- In related news, Mastercard Inc. announced it sponsored a soccer match last month that took place at an altitude of 20,230 feet above sea level, which the card company says is a record height.
- Users of a variety of mobile wallets can pay at more than 120,000 merchants in South Korea following the wallets’ integration of an Alipay+ cross-border payments feature. Alipay+ is a service of China-based Ant Group, owner of the global payments network Alipay.
