- Till Inc., a rental payment provider, announced four new features enabling tenants to pay rent. One, Budget and Save, enables tenants to allocate rent in smaller installments for their entire rent prior to the due date. Landlords still receive the full rent amount on the due date. Another feature, Rewards for Rent, provides tenant eligibility to win rent payment awards and have their rent covered by Till.
- Buy now, pay later specialist Afterpay Ltd. launched Afterpay Ads, a service that helps merchants reach Generation Z and Millennial consumers.
- E-commerce technology provider Digital River said it is working with tax-compliance software firm Avalara Inc. to launch a global system to simplify international tax compliance.
- CryptoXpress, a startup aiming to provide bill-pay and other banking services with cryptocurrency on mobile devices, said it will launch a public beta Aug. 24 with trading services, followed by a public launch next month on Android and iOS apps.
- GoDaddy Inc. launched GoDaddy Invoicing and Payments, a service that enables invoice processing through an integrated user interface. The service is derived from technology acquired via its Poynt acquisition last year.
- U.S. Bank said it will issue the U.S. Bank Voyager Mastercard for fleet-related expenses.
