KFC Adopts Ingenico POS Service for EMV and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 4/3/18

  • POS equipment maker Ingenico Group said KFC Corp., a unit of Yum! Brands Inc., migrated its U.S. payment system to Ingenico’s Telium semi-integrated POS service. Consumers now can make chip-and-sign, chip-and-PIN, magnetic-stripe, and contactless transactions at KFC locations.
  • Online shopping-cart provider 3dcart said its upcoming version 8.1 will support Google Pay integration.
  • NACHA, the ACH governing body, announced that it and the Interactive Financial eXchange forum finalized the merger of the IFX Forum as an independent entity under NACHA.
  • Gift card and loyalty provider Factor4 LLC said its RewardOS app for First Data Corp.’s Clover point-of-sale system is now available in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

  • Mastercard Inc. said Choon Phon Goh joined its board as an independent director. Goh is chief executive of Singapore Airlines.
  • Payments provider Paysafe named Karim Ahmad to the new position of chief product and transformation officer. Ahmad previously worked at TSYS. Paysafe also announced that Daniel Kornitzer, who previously was chief product officer, was named chief business development officer.
