- Buy now, pay later provider Klarna AB said its 2022 loss of 10.47 billion krona ($1 billion) grew on its 2021 loss of 7.1 billion krona ($680 million). This comes amid growth in 2022. The United States became Klarna’s largest market in December.
- Also, Klarna will begin collecting late fees from United Kingdom consumers who miss a payment, reported new site City A.M. The fees, to begin March 16, will start at 5 pounds ($6.05) and be capped at 25% of the order value. In the United States, Klarna charges up to $7 as a late fee, according to multiple sources.
- LawPay, a payments service for legal professionals, launched LawPay Pro, a billing software that offers time-tracking, invoicing, and payment operations.
