  • Food-service provider Sodexo North America’s InReach unit has contracted with payments provider Cantaloupe to upgrade 18,800 vending machiens and 1,200 micro markets for cashless payments.
  • PayPal Holdings Inc.’s Venmo peer-to-peer payments service says it is working with singer Mariah Carey to offer “custom holiday gift wrap” for holiday-season transactions on the Venmo platform.

  • Digital-payments platform One Inc, a specialist in the insurance industry, said Arbella Insurance Group has adopted One Inc’s PremiumPay and ClaimsPay services to enable faster inbound and outbound payments.
  • A 2-year-old fintech calling itself Zelf, Bank of the Metaverse, has launched an instant Visa debit card that can be funded with cryptocurrency. Zelf claims more than 1 million registered users, with a goal of 5 million by the end of next year.
